Hello everyone!
I am deliberately not going to make excuses for not blogging. I got married? The end.
It's much easier for me to just blog like I never left. I'll add lil tidbits of my life over the last few months while I blog the stuff of the now.
As for the now:
:: Joseph and I are living in a cute, one-bedroom apartment in Provo. We have two chairs and a TV in our living room, a card table in our kitchen, and a bedroom set that we love. That is the extent of our furniture, and we feel so blessed to have it.
:: We eat lots of cereal and peanut butter sandwiches. BUT last night our family night activity was grocery shopping (eeee!), so now we also have produce and a full pantry. Blessed.
:: Our schedules line up nicely so that we have breaks at the same time and class at the same time and work at the same time, for the most part. Some call it magic, we call it a blessing.
:: We are madly in love and life is wonderful.
Hooray! Caleb and I are running into the opposite problem, which is that we have too much stuff. All of our china and most of the rest of our registry stuff hangs out at my parents' house (God bless them). We have nowhere to put anything because A) apparently we need more space in our kitchen cabinets or to stop owning kitchen appliances and B) I have too many books and DVDs. I am contemplating putting all of my DVDs into CD/DVD books and throwing all of the cases away. I am making the excuse that "then you can't read the synopsis!" but, hi, internet.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'd love to see pictures! The plus side of having very little furniture: your apartment is great for sleepovers. Although maybe that's a pre-marriage activity. I dunno. It's great for board games. Caleb and I have to move our furniture to play our new Firefly game, haha.
Anyway, congrats again! Sorry I am incapable of short comments.
