Hooray! I don't like Halloween. I don't really get the big deal about dressing up in costume. Also: I'm afraid of masks and face paint (which is ridiculous, I know).
ReplyDeleteSo: Halloween sucks. Unfortunately, ALL of my friends LOVE Halloween and do super elaborate costumes, so we have to "do" Halloween every year. I need to learn to think of costumes ahead of time, it's just really not my jam, so I never do and always throw something terrible together that doesn't look like what I am supposed to be.
Anyway.
I'M AFRAID OF FACE PAINT TOO. We have so much in common.
DeleteHahaha my costume tactic is usually to plan to be so stubborn that "no one can make me dress up," and then panic at the last moment, knowing that I'll look stupid at that party/dance/other-Halloween-activity, try to throw something together, give up, go undressed anyway. Well, not undressed. You get what I mean. Anyways,
I definitely wasn't finished. But I may as well be because I was just going to say that I'm glad someone out there can sympathize. I feel like there must be a ton of people who hate Halloween, but it's hard to find each other because those who love it REALLY LOVE IT. The end.
